Recycled Acrylic

Soft knits, less virgin plastic.

Cozy textures, fewer new resources. This collection features recycled acrylic pieces designed for comfort while reducing dependence on virgin synthetic fibers.

Recycled acrylic is sourced from industrial knitwear waste or post-consumer textiles and reprocessed mechanically or chemically into usable fiber. It’s commonly produced where synthetic textile recycling exists, largely across Asia and parts of Europe. Key challenges include mixed-fiber blends that limit recyclability, microplastic shedding during washing, and inconsistent traceability for post-consumer streams. GRS/RCS can verify recycled content, and GRS adds requirements around chemicals and social compliance. Recycled acrylic is used in sweaters, hats, scarves, and home textiles where warmth and softness are desired.

♻ Recycled Acrylic

Recycled acrylic is made by reprocessing acrylic textile waste into new fibers, reducing reliance on virgin petroleum-based inputs.
