Why We Curate Plant Based Plastic Free Activewear from Reprise activewear

Plant-based materials come from renewable, natural sources. They’re chosen for their gentle impact on the planet — reducing dependence on synthetics and promoting biodegradable, breathable, and skin-friendly alternatives that honor both people and nature.

At WONENA, we curate Reprise Activewear because it challenges one of the biggest sustainability problems in sportswear: synthetic plastic fabrics that shed microplastics. The brand prioritizes plant-based materials and non-toxic production methods, offering a cleaner alternative to conventional polyester and nylon workout clothing.

More Plant Based

Activewear Made With Plant-Based Low Impact Fibers

By using Low-Impact Plant Fibers, the brand uses a ≥70% plant-derived renewable fibers: Crafted from renewable plant fibers like hemp, linen, or organic cotton — naturally low-impact and gentle on the planet.

Reprise Activewear focuses on plant-derived textiles such as TENCEL™ fibers made from responsibly sourced wood pulp. These biodegradable fibers are used as alternatives to petroleum-based synthetics commonly found in activewear. The brand also incorporates fair-trade organic cotton and natural rubber while working with manufacturing partners in Portugal that follow environmentally responsible production practices and certified dye standards such as OEKO-TEX.
