Compared to generic modal, TENCEL™ Modal emphasizes traceability, lower emissions, and improved chemical management. It is widely produced in Europe and Asia and used in garments that require softness, resilience, and long-lasting comfort. It's also known as LENZING™ Modal, which refers to the manufacturer Lenzing AG.

Cellulose derived from beech trees, commonly used to produce regenerated fibers such as modal and some lyocell varieties. Beechwood is valued for its smooth cellulose structure, which contributes to soft, breathable textiles. When sourced from responsibly managed forests, beechwood pulp can support more traceable and lower-impact fiber production.
