Jute has a naturally textured, organic feel—more tactile than raffia or cotton. Each piece is uniquely woven, with subtle variations in tone.

Understanding Jute Straw
Jute is a naturally sourced fiber valued for its breathable quality and rich, tactile surface. Its subtly coarse texture gives the hat a rustic, earthy presence—distinct from the smooth finish of synthetic materials.

As each piece is handwoven, slight variations in shade, weave, and surface are inherent. These nuances are part of the fiber’s character and reflect the craftsmanship behind every hat.

The silhouette is softly formed to provide structure without stiffness. With time, the fibers may relax and settle, enhancing its natural drape and easy, lived-in feel.

Jute will naturally soften over time. To help maintain or restore its structure, lightly apply a fabric stiffener spray as needed.
When packing, fill the crown with soft materials and gently curve the brim upward. Avoid flattening, as this may compromise the hat’s shape.

Most items are handwoven or made with natural fibers. Spot clean or handwash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Avoid harsh detergents and high heat.
